Free Sources for learning resources and CBDs : 

Are you an IMG doctor or a UK doctor who wants to collect CPDs, get all the online courses you need, and improve your appraisal? We've got you covered with some helpful resources.

If you're an IMG or UK doctor looking to collect CPD points, there are plenty of helpful resources available online. 

  1. ELFH: One such resource is ELFH, which offers free online courses and can be accessed at https://portal.e-lfh.org.uk/.
  2.  ESR NHS website Another option is the ESR NHS website, which also offers free online courses and can be accessed at https://my.esr.nhs.uk/dashboard/web/esrweb 
  3. BMJ learning is another popular choice, with an annual subscription available through BMA subscription and you can claim tax relief at the end of the year and can be accessed at https://learning.bmj.com/ 
  4. UpToDate : Other options include UpToDate, which is free and can be accessed after asking your trust for free access and every year, you can claim an online CPD certificate on the website searches, and can be accessed at https://www.uptodate.com/login 
  5. Medscape Similarly, Medscape is another free option, and every year you can claim an online CPD certificate through website searches. 
  6. The Royal College of your speciality also offers an annual subscription that you can claim tax relief on at the end of the year. For example, the RCEM learning website can be accessed at https://www.rcemlearning.co.uk/ 
  7. Doctors.net is a very amazing and free website for CESR application and CPDs. You can use your GMC ID to get lots of courses, and it can be accessed at https://www.doctors.net.uk/ 
  8. Health Education England Central Learning Hub is another option that is free to use, and can be accessed by asking your trust for login, and can be accessed at https://heeoe.bridgeapp.com/learner/courses.


In terms of applications for recording WBAs, CBDs, and CPDs, there are several options available. Easilog and Surgilog are two such applications that can be helpful and can be accessed at https://easilog.com/ and https://www.surgilog.com/login respectively [2] [2].
